La Prima is the foundation of every LoVoi look — the choker you forget you're wearing.
We started with two questions about chokers. First: why are they uncomfortable? The word itself — choker — names the problem. Most are built to sit tight and high, with no room to breathe throughout the day. Second: why do they shorten the wearer? A necklace worn high on the neck with a center focal point cuts the vertical line and clutters the open décolletage that's known to elongate the silhouette.

Our answer is two design moves. First: a hybrid construction — a 10-inch design joined to a 4- inch adjustable drawstring, adjustable by millimeters throughout the day. Maximum comfort, minimal effort. Second: we rotated the focal point slightly to the side. We call it the kiss on the neck. The eye is drawn off-center, the décolletage stays open, the silhouette stays long. The piece you put on first, and the one you leave on.

Dolce far Lusso ranges from 16 to 35 inches. The shorter pieces rest at the base of the collarbone, the longest falls just below the chest. Each length is designed to be worn alone,
stacked with La Prima or La Prossima collections or layered within Dolce far Lusso itself.

Dolce far Lusso is the heart of the LoVoi collection - and so are you. The phrase is ours. We coined it: a fusion of two of Italy’s most beloved sentiments - la Dolce Vita (the sweet life) and Dolce far Niente, (the sweetness of doing nothing) joined by Lusso –
